Indian constitution guarantees religious freedom for all citizens to profess, practice and propagate religion. So, to engage in religious affairs is solely vested in the followers of any religion.
I believe and understand that, the new bill proposing amendment in the waqf act is undermining the freedom of religion as specified in the article 25 of Indian constitution.
I vehemently oppose the waqf amendment bill 2024, as the contents in it, questions the religious freedom awarded by the constitution of India.
